Wind~IT has been displayed in Ventura Lambrate during the Milan Design Week 2016, #MDW16
"Advances in technology have contributed to the creation of interior environments that function independently from their physical surroundings. Information on outdoor weather conditions is provided by liquid screens, i.e. our smartphones, which remove us from experiencing it physically and emotionally. Based on this observation, the ‘Wind~IT‘ app allows real-time wind data to be expressed in the interior. Users can experience the qualities of wind in their immediate surroundings. This project attempts to embrace existing (and not) conditions of technology to include the exterior environment again in our daily lives."

"I progressi della tecnologia hanno contribuito alla creazione di ambienti interni che funzionano indipendentemente dall'ambiente circostante. Le informazioni sulle condizioni meteorologiche esterne sono fornite da schermi liquidi, ovvero i nostri smartphone, che ci estraniano dal fatto di sperimentarle fisicamente ed emotivamente. L'applicazione "Wind ~ IT" consente di elaborare i dati del vento in tempo reale all'interno dei propri spazi. Gli utenti possono sperimentare le qualità del vento nelle loro immediate vicinanze. Questo progetto tenta di approcciare le condizioni tecnologiche esistenti e non per includere nuovamente l'ambiente esterno nelle nostre vite quotidiane."
